Preface
The proposed tutorial is intended for students of 1-5 courses of all specialties of full-time and absentee departments.
The manual is designed to give a certain amount of knowledge in the field of French.
The purpose of the manual:
- the formation and improvement of the lexical language of the language;
- development of skills to recognize and understand grammatical forms
and designs;
- development of skills to use grammatical forms and designs in oral and written speech;
- providing a basic level of knowledge of the grammatical system of French.
The textbook helps in the implementation of the control of the seizing the assimilation of the main grammatical topics, the fastening of the skills of using lexical poents, the development of the skills of the perception of French texts and control their understanding.
Lexico-grammatical exercises are relying on active and passive possession of vocabulary and grammar.
The training manual can be used as teachers who are supervised by students of grammatical material and students for independent work. The manual will also help to repeat the grammar material and conduct a test of students' knowledge.
This training manual can be used by applicants to prepare for the French language exam when entering a non-language university, to repeat and monitor the knowledge of lexico-grammatical material, full-time students and correspondence
departments for fixing and self-control of the material passed, as well as for self-performing tests.
Introduction
This training manual is drawn up in accordance with the educational standard and taking into account the requirements of training programs in a foreign language and intended for complex work on French grammar on the initial and advanced stages of language learning.
Exercises Depending on the level of training and learning purposes, it is possible to work completely or selectively, independently or under the guidance of the teacher, respectively, the material is convenient for both beginners and for continuing the study of French. In the exercises, common vocabulary is used. Each grammatical theme is given in Russian, which facilitates perception and makes the material more affordable for students. The grammatical theme is completed by the exercises on the consolidation and repetition of grammatical phenomena.
I. Noun
1.1. The genus of nouns
LE GENRE DES NOMS)
AT the difference from the Russian language in French is only two kinds - male (Masculin) and female (féminin).
The genus of Russian and French nouns does not always coincide:
In animated nouns, denoting people and part of animals, mainly homely, the genus is motivated and differs depending on the floor: UN HOMME - UNE FEMME; Un Fils - Une Fille; Un ActEur - Une Actrice; un coq - une poule; Un Chat - Une Chatte.
Such nouns can be used both in men and women's birth.
Sometimes the memorization of the genus may be facilitated by the semantics of the noun.
As a rule, male genus nouns:
- Truck names: Le Sapin, Le Bouleau, Le Chêne, Le Tilleul, etc.;
- Metal Names: Le Fer, Le Cuivre, L'Acrier, etc. (Schel.: La Fonte);
- names of days, months and seasons: Lundi M, Mai M, été M, etc.;
- Language names: Le Français, L'Anglais, Le Russe, etc.;
- Speech Parts: Un Nom, Un Verbe, Un Adjectif, etc.
As a rule, the female genus nouns:
- Science names: La Médecine, La Botanique, etc. (Split: Le Droit);
- Disease names: La Peste, La Grippe, La Toux, etc. (Rhume: Le Rhume, Le Diabète, Le Choléra);
- Fruit names: UNE PêChe, Une Orange, Une Pomme, etc. (Schel.: Un Citron, Un Abricot)

Nouns on -Eur names of abstract concepts - female genus: La Douleur, La Pâleur (Rosh.: Le Bonheur, Le Malheur, L'Honneur).
If the name of the country ends on-it, then it is usually
female genus: La France, L'Italie, La Grèce, La Russia (Roshl.: Le Mexique, Le Mozambique), if on another vowel or for consonant, then it is
as a rule, male genus: Le Congo, Le Canada, Le Brésil, Le Japon, Le Maroc.
General Rule: The letter is added silent to the form of a male race.
If the noun in the male mind ends on-with, then it does not change in feminine, the indicator of the genus in this case is

The tasks for the participants of the French Olympics are developed taking into account the "Methodological recommendations for the school and municipal stages of the All-Russian School Olympiad in French in 2009/2010" (
Olympiad materials include 4 types of speech activities and a lexico-grammatical test.
Task execution time and their assessment.

The remaining places are distributed in accordance with scored points (for four tasks).
