After school, my mother and I went to our grandmother in the village. It was very boring on the train, so I ran from one carriage to another. When we arrived, my grandfather met us. He was short, bearded and gray-haired. He led us through the entire village to the house, since they lived on the edge of the village. Grandma greeted us with kisses, pleasant and warm words, and of course our favorite pies.

I went for a walk with the guys. We went to the river, caught snakes and small fish. And then we swam. They walked the streets and teased the dogs, and then ran away from them. We had a lot of fun. It was already evening, I so wanted to play with the guys some more, but I knew that if I didn’t come home, I’d be in big trouble.

The next morning, my friends and I went into the forest, some took baskets for berries, and others just went to look at the local inhabitants.

We didn’t risk going far into the forest, but we had a good laugh and ate our fill of local berries.

And so we spent every day in the village with our grandmother.

When mom said that we were going home, I was a little upset and didn’t want to leave. Yaya said goodbye to the guys and went up to his mother at the station, from where we boarded the train and went home. But this time I didn’t run around the carriages anymore, I was tired, but I was pleased that I had a wonderful summer.

I'm at my grandmother's in the village

I'm having a great summer.

I'm not too lazy to study

A pig and a goat.

A herd of cows passed by

The chickens cluck on the porch.

I need to know the animals

From start to finish.

Why does the lamb bleat?

I'll tell everyone later.

Run away from the geese quickly,

But let’s not talk about this!

The following participants in the parent-child project “How I Spent the Summer”, the family of my pupil Violetta Bogatova, presented very rich and interesting material for the project. As participants in this project, Viola’s mother organized her daughter’s vacation in such a way that she created all the conditions and used all the resources of her family to expand the child’s ideas about the world around her, instilling the skills of caring for the world around her, learning about it, nurturing emotional responsiveness, creating a positive emotional mood.

For most of the summer, Viola stayed in the village with her great-grandmother Capa.

Here she met and made friends with her many pets: the cat Fluff, purebred dogs Vikhotka and Eva, the puppy Elya, the black goat Nochka, and her kids Cloud and Veterok, with black piglets and geese. It’s probably not worth talking about the birds, bugs and spiders that surrounded my pupil literally everywhere every day, to her delight.

Violetta’s parents are supporters of healthy eating and teach their child to do so from an early age, so especially delicious, fresh breakfasts with raspberries picked with their own hands and lunches and dinners from great-grandmother Capa’s garden will be remembered by her for a long time, until the next long-awaited summer.

Having thoroughly enjoyed village life in early August. Viola returned to the city from her grandmother in a friendly atmosphere with a cheerful mood and a lot of impressions, but even here a pleasant surprise awaited her, which her grandparents gave her - walks around the city, fun attractions, riding an ATV and water slides, visiting a water park and swimming in Ob River.

According to Violetta's mother, Marina Georgievna: “If there is even the slightest opportunity to take your child outside of a large metropolis, then you should certainly use it for the benefit of your child. Being in the fresh air for any child and “communicating” with the world around him can only be beneficial, because such interaction develops in children kindness, compassion, as well as curiosity, the habit of caring for the environment and many other useful qualities. And then it’s hardening, and life experience, and expanding horizons, mastering new skills and the ability to get out of different situations. And the most important skill is to be independent. So, mommies, don’t be nervous, and let your baby grow up and “heal” with fresh air. Believe me, this will only be for the benefit of the child. In the summer, children in the air, surrounded by loving people, quickly grow and get stronger, which is not unimportant for their health. Rest in the village it is a symbol of a happy country summer and a real “five-star hotel” where “All Inclusive!” Take care of yourself and your loved ones!”

To be continued. ….

Summer in the village means fresh air, blue skies, the fragrant smell of the forest, a variety of delicious berries and mushrooms.
I'm looking forward to the hot summer days to experience the unforgettable atmosphere of being close to nature.

And once again, having collected my things, I go to the village. This place doesn't feel like a city. The asphalt, bursting with heat and stuffiness, is incomparable to the green carpet of grass and flowers and the purity and lightness of the air.

In the mornings, I got up with the roosters. He helped his grandmother fetch water, water the garden, and then, together with his grandfather, chopped wood.

Hot days were brightened up by trips to the river, where you could not only swim to your heart's content, but also go fishing. I have mastered the freestyle and breaststroke perfectly. Riding a bike with my best friend Kolya, who lives next door, and playing badminton kept me busy.

With my grandparents and our dog, we went into the forest and picked a pot of blueberries and a whole basket of mushrooms, which we then fried and ate with potatoes and onions grown with our own hands.
One day I spent the night on the roof, covered with a blanket from the cold dew that had fallen, I counted the large and bright stars, looked for constellations in the dark blue cloudless night sky. More than once, after several weeks, I had vivid, starry dreams at night.

I really love rain. In the village, the sound of raindrops on the roofs is unusually melodious and ringing, and how wonderful is the rainbow after the clouds have parted, what an exciting aroma!

At the end of summer, flowers of unprecedented beauty bloomed in our flower beds. I dried many of the fallen buds and petals and added them to my herbarium as a keepsake. And in the garden I found a lucky four-leaf clover, which I hid in my favorite book.

Closer to autumn, to the beginning of Indian summer, we began to harvest a rich harvest - zucchini, pumpkins, carrots, radishes, cabbage, beets, tomatoes, plums and much more.

Many preparations - jams and pickles - were taken with them to the city, as a piece of summer, a reminder of the hot season and hard work.

Short mini essay

Every summer, by tradition, I spend visiting my grandmother in the village. After a year of living in the city, life in the village seems calm and measured. There are no traffic jams and noisy streets, shopping centers and large crowds. And it seems that the air is cleaner here and the sun is warmer. After having a cozy but small apartment, I like to help my grandmother in the yard. Every morning begins with a delicious breakfast. Then we go to feed everyone else: chickens, pigs and of course the cat and dog. It's hard to imagine a rural yard without these animals.

After lunch, when all the work is done, I go with the local guys either to swim in the lake or for a walk in the forest. The nature here is beautiful and the people are kind. I miss my parents a little, although living with my grandmother is no worse, maybe even a little better. There is no Internet here, and the TV only shows a few channels, and even those that are not interesting. So I started reading the book. At home, in the city, I never had enough time for her. This is how I spent the summer in the village visiting my grandmother.

Essay on a free topic “How I spent the summer with my grandmother”

Summer... It would seem like an eternity separates me from the first bell to the long-awaited eventful vacation, but nine months of study flew by unnoticed. I would like to tell you how I spent the summer. My vacation did not feature many different events, but it was still eventful and memorable.

About how I spent the summer with my grandmother

I'm in 8th grade - this is the middle of my school life. During your studies, you get a little tired of the city: thousands of people who are always unsuccessful, and the roar of cars does not provide an opportunity for rest. So I went on vacation to my grandmother and grew my cheeks by September 1st.

Grandma was happy about my arrival. She lives with her grandfather in a small beautiful village, which is located a few kilometers from the sea. In the first days I was a little bored, because I didn’t know who to have fun with, and my grandmother’s games were a little uninteresting. But soon I found a lot of entertainment that I spent all my time on.

My first discovery was the animals living with my grandparents. Geese, chickens, turkeys, little pigs, cows and calves - it was very interesting to watch them. Often, someone and I fed the animals, brought them in and simply looked after them. This brought considerable pleasure, as grandparents shared their fascinating stories during this.

Life became even more interesting when I met local guys. We played a variety of games, went for walks on warm summer evenings and learned more and more about each other.

My warmest memories of summer are associated with football. There was a small lawn near my yard that served as a football field. We got together with the guys in the late afternoon and played until the night, since the lanterns that served as our gate illuminated the site in the dark. Grandparents were spectators and recorded the score of the game.

An essay about vacation would be boring without the arrival of parents. They came to take a break from city life for a couple of weeks at the end of July. The highlight of my vacation was a trip to the sea with my mom and dad. My parents rented a house on the seashore for a couple of days, and we went to catch a tan and swim in the cool water. Mom and I built a lot of sand castles, and dad and I tried all the forbidden sweets: spending time with our parents is a pleasure.

It was a pleasure to write an essay about summer, since my summer was unforgettable. Memories of vacation will warm me throughout the entire period of study, until I go to my grandmother again and recharge with new emotions.

Mini essay “How I spent the summer” (Var 1)

Many people's favorite time of year is summer. And I am no exception. At this time, people go to their dachas, to villages, to the seas... For example, my whole family spends the summer at the dacha. Every weekend I clean our territory, helping my parents. It's not very fun, but I like the end result. Recently, my dad built arcs for a greenhouse and I actively helped him with this. It turned out really great! When the greenhouse is completely ready, we will plant tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers there... These vegetables are very healthy and tasty.
We also go to the forest very often. Of course, the forest is no less beautiful in winter, but still different from summer. In the forest, I love watching the life of the animals living there. I often saw squirrels and hedgehogs. Sometimes there is a desire to catch one of them in order to pet them and treat them to an apple or nut. And hedgehogs puff nicely. Mom is a little scared by these sounds. In general, hedgehogs are very playful animals. It’s a pity that you can’t pet him, I’m afraid there will be wounds from the needles on his hands. Well, besides, hedgehogs were created for life in nature, which is why their houses have an unpleasant smell
We also pick mushrooms. I really don’t really like doing this, but I really like eating them. Then mom prepares some kind of delicacy from it or closes it for the winter.
I really love spending my summer holidays at the dacha. It's very cool here!

Mini essay “How I spent the summer” (Var 2)

If a child living in the city even once has the opportunity to spend summer holidays in the countryside, it will remain in his memory for a long time. After all, what has become normal for village children is completely new for a city dweller. The guys spend all their free time outside. This usually happens until late in the evening. There are also rivers or lakes in the village near the houses. This is very cool! Because if you want, you can go for a swim and don’t have to go anywhere. There are also forests and fields. There you can pick berries and mushrooms, the main thing is to be able to distinguish poisonous ones from edible ones. It’s also great to have picnics in the forest. Sometimes we go to the forest with adults, and sometimes we go alone - our large and friendly company. Overall, it’s unforgettable!

Children who live in the village know many signs. And the guys also have amazing experience both in the forest, just like experienced tourists, and in doing household chores. For example, if there are any animals at home, then you have to help your parents with the housework, no matter how much you want to go for a walk. This is not the first time for village children. But for a city dweller this phenomenon is completely unusual.
In the summer there is a lot to do in the village. There is even a saying on this topic: one summer day feeds the year. There are things that must be done without fail. For example, making hay for the winter. This should be done in the summer. For children who help their parents, this is not only work, but also pleasure, because lying on freshly cut grass is great pleasure!
