July 18 teachers and schoolchildren children's camp"Seagull" of the Serdobsky district held an environmental campaign "Clean Coast" as part of the work of the youth environmental movement "Green Wave". The initiator of the action, which includes an ecological raid, garbage collection and an educational cultural program "Parade of Peoples", was Aleksey Maryin, head of the Serdobsk local branch of the Russian geographical society.

Participants of the ecological raid examined the coastal territory of the Khoper River, where vacationers left garbage behind. The activists decided on their own to carry out an environmental action and clean up the garbage.

The raids are carried out within the framework of the new Green Wave Ecological Patrol project, the main goals of which are to improve the system of public control and assessment of the current state of natural components, as well as to conduct a number of large-scale mass public actions to protect environment by members of the Green Wave Movement.

86 children and 14 adults went to the banks of the Khopra that day to make it cleaner, and most importantly, to feel their involvement in the preservation of this river. Today we are together, like one family, cleaning our house, with love and care, - said Maryin.

Alexey Vladimirovich also told his colleagues and young "jealous" ecological heritage about the uniqueness of biocenoses and the existing nature reserves and wildlife preserves of the Khoper region in the Penza region.

Ecological action ended with a parade of the peoples of the Sursky region. The participants of the action got acquainted with the traditions, customs, culture and way of life of such peoples as Russians, Mordovians (the most common nationalities in the Penza region), Ukrainians, Kazakhs. "Despite the large number of nationalities living in Russia, we are all strengthening day by day the strength, power and glory of our state, we are building a common economy and a common culture!" - Vera Petrilina, the senior counselor of "The Seagull", turned to the guys at the end.

Recall that the organizers (founders) of the Green Wave movement are: the Penza Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society, the Penza Regional Fund for Scientific and Technical Development, ANO Green Wave. The Green Wave movement operates in the region with the full support of: the Government of the Penza Region, the Administration of the City of Penza, the Prosecutor's Office of the Penza Region, the Rosprirodnadzor of the Penza Region, the Ministry of Forestry, Hunting and Nature Management of the Penza Region, the Ministry of Education of the Penza Region, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Penza Region, Penza state university, GBUK "Association of Literary and Memorial Museums of the Penza Region". Recall that the author of the project to create the movement "Green Wave" is the Penza Regional Fund for Scientific and Technological Development.

Report

about the campaign "Clean Shores".

On October 2, in the Adler district of Sochi, students of the 1st grade of MOBU secondary school No. 28 cleaned the beach on the shore of the Imeretinskaya Bay in the interfluve of the Mzymta and Psou rivers - largest rivers Sochi.

At the appointed time, the protesters arrived at the scene. After looking around, they outlined a work plan. Defined the boundaries of the area to be cleaned:

coastline 150 meters long and 30 meters wide

15 people took part in the action.

This beach is visited by guests of our city. The embankment offers a magnificent view of the Olympic Park. It is also a favorite vacation spot for locals who have picnics on the beach. Unfortunately, not all beach visitors take the environmental problems of the Black Sea seriously. They do not think that all the garbage left by them on the shore will sooner or later end up in the sea and cause damage to the environment. The coastal strip also suffers from littering, where you can still see the Red Book plants of the city of Sochi: the new soldanel and seaside eryngium, meet the seaside radish and reed arundo, see what Bermuda grass and theophrastus rope look like. We have been looking for pancras for a long time, but ... it seems that this plant has been irretrievably destroyed.

The students of our school decided to hold an environmental action "Clean Coast" and show that it is not at all difficult to collect garbage in bags and take it away from the beach. And how many positive emotions the children experienced when they saw the fruits of their labor - a clean and beautiful coast! And as if Nature herself decided to thank us, and a rainbow shone in the sky.

The total number of collected bags is 6 (about 50 kg of household waste).

And even if the action was targeted, but now we know for sure that it depends on each of us what our city will be like. Sochi is our common home. And the house should be clean and beautiful! And each of us is responsible for the beauty and cleanliness in our home!

Work in this direction will be continued. On October 31, on the International Black Sea Day, the Clean Coast action is planned in the Matsesta area (cleaning the trail along the Zmeyka River). We also submitted an application for participation in an innovative network project within the framework of the “I love you, Sochi” program in the direction “I make the city clean, fashionable, beautiful!”.

Ecological action "Clean coast"

Life on the planet originated and developed in water, civilizations arose on the banks of rivers and seas. Water is the carrier and basis of life. Conservation of water is not just the conservation of nature, but also the conservation of life itself.

Today, human activity has led to the fact that in 70% of the rivers the water is not suitable for drinking and is dangerous for swimming. 40% of untreated sewage and industrial effluents are discharged into rivers and seas. Chemicals from the fields and manure poison 50% of small rivers, especially in the middle lane and in the southern region of Russia. In cities, up to 80% of small rivers are buried in underground collectors. On the banks of rivers, in ravines and floodplain lowlands, garbage dumps are created and grow. The attitude to rivers and seas is predatory, consumerist - to use, and then nature itself will restore and clean everything.

WILL NOT CLEAN ITSELF. A LOT OF GARBAGE!

And only our efforts will be able to restore the natural balance.

A river is a single organism with all banks, springs, streams and tributaries. The river basin is a single integral system, and only its preservation will ensure the preservation of the river. Rivers flow between villages, cities, regions, republics, uniting them into a single complex responsible for the life of the river. Rivers have flowed before us for millennia, and we cannot allow them to die today, with us, so that dirty ditches and sewage drains remain after us.

Our village was founded near the Yelan River.

Purity coastal zone and the river itself directly depends on the vigilance of the villagers themselves and their guests.

The culture of waste disposal is not yet developed in our country, and the more often the authorities, and the citizens themselves, pay attention to this problem, the more often in the subconscious of people the desire will not be littered at home. Indeed, under the concept of "house" one must perceive - not a place fenced with a door or a fence - but a city, land, forest, rivers and lakes that surround us.

The "Clean Shore" event in itself, of course, will not solve the problem of clogging the coastal zone of our river, but at least it will attract public attention and show good example citizens, and most importantly rural youth.

The action "Clean Coast" is aimed primarily at cleaning up the coastal zone of the Yelan River in the "Rebyachka" area from spontaneous dumps and garbage in a place where we, ourselves - residents and guests of the village of Yelan-Koleno, rest first of all.

Of course, objections may arise, such as: “Why should I clean up someone's garbage? I don't litter myself! And cleaning up for someone else is none of my business!” We will not argue with such a philosophy - it has a place to be ... But, if you approach from the point of view of the owner of your village (and a villager is the owner), then only the real owner can clean his home or territory.

The action "Clean Coast" is held by the children of our school, under the guidance of the educator Yury Fedorovich Zaitsev, for several years already - in autumn and spring.

The guys understand the importance of the work entrusted to them and treat it responsibly. But if in the first year one bag was enough for garbage collection, then each time the amount of garbage began to increase exponentially.

"To make our coast cleaner, and the village - better!". The organizers of the action do not expect a general invasion from the inhabitants of the village to clean up the banks of the Elani, but if someone is not indifferent to the fate of the village and the river, and at least a few people respond, then we have coped with the task. .

We invite you to participate in world day Clean Coast. The action will take place on July 22, on the same day all over the world, and will be held annually on the same day on the entire planet Earth.
