All parents try to send their child to a good school. At the same time, the criteria for choosing an educational institution vary significantly. For some, this is the school in which they studied themselves; for others, it is a prestigious lyceum with security, a swimming pool and in-depth study of individual subjects, most often a foreign language. To make the choice easier, a rating of Moscow schools was compiled. Parents will be able to compare educational institutions and draw appropriate conclusions.

Annual school rankings

All educational institutions in the capital are under close scrutiny. When compiling the rating, specialists from the Department of Education do not take into account the material resources of the school, the number of sections and clubs in the school, the presence of a swimming pool and other characteristics of the school. based primarily on results educational process at school. What is taken into account is not the grades that children receive throughout the year, but the test results in the ninth grade according to the OEG, in the eleventh grade - according to the Unified State Exam, and the results of students at regional and All-Russian Olympiads. In the lower grades, children's knowledge acquired at school is tested.

Experts began compiling the annual rating in 2011. Thanks to this, some educational institutions have intensified their activities. Some managed to significantly improve their level of education for several years. In order to advance in the ranking, it is not necessary to have a large material base. It is enough to correctly distribute all resources in the school and intensify the educational process.

Criteria for evaluating the best schools in Moscow

First of all, the level of knowledge of students of a particular educational institution is taken into account. The rating, as already mentioned, does not take into account the school’s equipment and the presence of modern elevators. The main criterion is the results of the children at the Unified State Exam and Olympiads. Also, the ranking of the best Moscow schools is influenced by students who are registered with the police or are considered disadvantaged. If a child finds himself in an unpleasant situation, the educational institution is also to blame.

Active children bring additional points to the ranking of Moscow schools. These are the guys who take part in various cultural events in the capital. The comprehensive development of a small personality is of great importance. Additionally, the presence of clubs that focus on a particular profile, or recreational and sports sections is taken into account.

Rating educational institutions First of all, it depends on the principal and teachers, who invest their best in students. The list proves that the best schools are not only in the center of Moscow, but are dispersed throughout the region. For example, the ranking of Moscow schools by district raises the authority of educational institutions in the Southern, Western, and Southwestern districts.

Leaders

The ranking has led to some schools significantly increasing their positions in recent years. Every educational institution strives to become the best. However, the top ten list remains unchanged from previous years. The best educational institutions have a number of advantages.

This is, first of all, a strong teaching staff, which graduates students with the highest test results and knowledge scores. For the last few years, the leading position has been occupied by the school of the Central District “Kurchakovskaya School”. This establishment accepts children from 6 years old. Already in elementary school they begin to take prizes at city Olympiads.

Lyceum No. 1535 remains invariably in high positions. The Specialized Educational and Scientific Center of Moscow State University is performing well. School No. 57 invariably remains in third position. The Department of Education puts out the official rating of Moscow schools for public viewing. On the official website, parents can familiarize themselves with the list of the best educational institutions in the capital.

Rewards

Each school strives to get to high positions in the rankings. And this is connected not only with prestige. Educational institutions that are recognized as the best receive monetary rewards. Money is allocated from the city budget and can be spent on improvement school classrooms, procurement methodological literature or equipment for specialized classes.

Educational institutions that take the first 170 places are rewarded. Part of the amount received from the city goes to bonuses for teachers. Such motivation contributes to even greater diligence of teachers. They strive to work efficiently so that next year the school will again be included in the ranking of the best.

Ranking of schools based on Unified State Examination results

Each school undergoes mandatory state examinations. It is on the results of these tests that the experts who compile the rating of Moscow schools rely. All educational institutions have different levels of performance indicators. Lyceum No. 1535 takes first place in the Russian language. The best mathematics experts study at gymnasium No. 1514. In the North-Eastern District, gymnasium No. 1518 has the best results in social studies and history. High rating According to the results of the Unified State Exam in Physics, school No. 368 “Losiny Ostrov” is ranked. In biology, school No. 597 is in first place. In the South-Western District there is school No. 1694 “Yasenevo”, which showed the best results in chemistry. Lyceum No. 1795 “Losinoostrovsky” became the best in literature.

Data provided for last year. However, practice shows that leaders remain unchanged.

Enrollment begins in 7th grade based on the student’s testing results.

Most graduates continue their studies at the University. Lomonosov. Many guys are laureates scientific conferences and winners of Olympiads in mathematics, computer science and physics.

Third place in the ranking of Moscow schools

State Budget Center Education No. 57 “Fifty-seventh School” is one of the three leading schools in Moscow. The institution specializes in working with gifted children. It is quite difficult to pass the entrance exams. Every year the school enrolls 300 children in preparatory courses, but no one can guarantee that the student will enter first grade. There are clubs and sections, and much attention is paid to mathematics. At school, many students are winners of All-Russian and Moscow Olympiads in exact sciences and English.

Students who graduate often go on to study abroad at many British and American higher education institutions. Most applicants enroll in the profile information technology.

What is the school rating?

Educational institutions that take part in such events are not afraid to show their shortcomings. The school inspection process is completely open. To participate, you do not need to prepare or conduct demonstration lessons. This rating of Moscow schools shows which educational institutions make a huge contribution to the learning process. In addition, such a list helps parents make their choice.

The rating will help other schools to intensify their educational process and improve their performance. Institutions that occupy leading positions strive not to rest on their laurels and improve their activities.

* Coefficient for socio-cultural work

Each student is counted only once according to the Unified State Examination parameter.

In 2017, the range of Olympiads within the framework of the Moscow Olympiad for Schoolchildren is expanding.

Each student in each subject is counted once in accordance with the maximum result. One student is counted in no more than two subjects. If a student transfers to another educational institution, points based on the results of the competitions of the current academic year during this academic year are divided in half between the educational organization that the student attended this academic year and the educational organization that the student attended as of May 25 of the previous year.

Each student is counted in no more than one subject . Students who become winners or prize-winners at the regional or final stages are not taken into account in the municipal stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren.

In the Olympiad “Museums. Parks. Estates" in each parallel of students only one diploma with the maximum result is taken into account. Thus, the result “winner” means that the educational organization has at least one winner’s diploma in a parallel (regardless of their number in one parallel), the result “winner” means that the educational organization has at least one winner’s diploma in a parallel (regardless of their number in one parallel).

The results of students with disabilities at the Abilimpix Championship are multiplied by a factor of 3 or 5 depending on the funding coefficient.

The 11th graders from the school with in-depth study English language No. 1319 in Maryino. 25 out of 26 graduates scored more than 220 points in three exams. I wonder what's on the list best schools Moscow and the country were not ranked 1319th - these rankings take into account the results of the State Examination and victories in school Olympiads.

Our school, a small complex, accepts all children from grades 1 to 11, admits Director of school No. 1319 Vera Samsonova.- We are pleased with the high results that our students show annually in the unified state exam. An individual curriculum for each student from grades 9 to 11 helps us a lot with this. Although the greatest merit high quality Education still depends on the unity of the teacher, parents and student. Solving issues together is the secret of our success.

In second place was Gymnasium in the South-West No. 1543: out of 90 students, 82 had high scores! The third position was taken by gymnasium No. 1514: 80 high-scoring students out of 88 graduates.

We work not for results, but for a high level of training,” says Director of the Moscow Gymnasium in the South-West Yuri Zavelsky.- I think that over the 42 years of work as a director, I managed to assemble a solid team of professionals. From my point of view, our students receive very good knowledge, for which we need to thank our parents immensely - what would we do without them! We discuss with them all sorts of issues that somehow relate to the gymnasium.

The scandalous school No. 57 also distinguished itself. She was in 8th place on this list: out of 110 graduates, 94 children scored more than 220 points.

It is not surprising why small schools came out on top. It is much easier to prepare one class for state exams than ten! But the big complexes didn’t lose face either. Lyceum No. 1535, which year after year occupies the top lines of the ranking of capital schools, also showed excellent results. Of the 277 graduates, 248 were high scorers and only 4 children who scored less than 160 points in three exams. High school students of the Lyceum also keep their mark High school economics: high scores 302 people out of 381 were recruited. Well, no one scored less than 160!

It is clear that evaluating schools only based on Unified State Exam results is not very correct. Somewhere they teach only senior classes and specially select gifted children, weeding out those who do not reach the level. In others, they take all the children from neighboring yards, including those who are missing stars from the sky - and work with them from the first bell to the last. We must not forget about parents. While some pore over assignments with their child from morning to night and do not skimp on tutors, others hand over their children to school as if they were in a storage room. Therefore, it is impossible to completely shift responsibility for the results of the Unified State Exam onto schools.

Mostly educational institutions are assessed based on the children’s results at the Unified State Examination, State Examination and Olympiads. And other criteria. For example, if students were caught violating the Unified State Exam, the school lost points. Points were awarded for a child's transition from preschool to first grade in the same school. At the same time, the rating does not take into account internal assessments of schools (in magazines and notebooks), which makes it more objective.

Out of 300 schools, the first 170 will receive a grant (the top 20 will receive I degree grants, from 21 to 70 places - II degree grants, and from 71 to 170 places - III degree grants). The amount is different every year and will be known later. The school can use this money for internal needs: purchase of equipment, additional materials for laboratories, repairs, etc.

This year it was created on the basis of eight blocks of indicators. Attention was paid to how students passed the main state exam (OGE) and the Unified state exam(Unified State Examination), how they participated in the Moscow and All-Russian Olympiads schoolchildren.

The results of the competitions, the All-Russian Olympiad of Professional Skills and the Abilympics Championship were also taken into account. In addition, schools and lyceums included in the rating pay special attention to sports training (students take prizes in competitions), the work of preschool departments and crime prevention. If a child who is registered with the internal affairs bodies behaved exemplary during the school year, then the school will receive more points for him than for another student.

Thus, the main rule for compiling a rating is to fix not the learning conditions, but concrete results. For example, the presence of a swimming pool at school fades into the background, giving way to the success of schoolchildren in olympiads and exams.

The methodology for compiling the rating is dealt with. According to its director Ivan Yashchenko, the Department of Education and the Moscow City Hall formulate the main directions in which the education system should develop, and for them they find quantitative characteristics and an algorithm for calculating the final indicators.

The first rating was compiled based on the results of the 2010/2011 academic year. Then it was based on only two indicators: Unified State Exam results or state final certification (GIA) and participation in the Moscow and All-Russian Olympiads for schoolchildren. In subsequent years, evaluation criteria began to expand. Since the 2015/2016 academic year, the ranking has been updated several times a year to take into account the results of past school competitions or professional competitions.
